Garden-Themed Table Setting

It's Garden Party Time

We will celebrate the first day of Spring (Spring Equinox) on March 20th.

Seed packets tucked into each guest's napkins are befitting party favors.

As well as pretty cute plant adornment!

Fruit and vegetable shaped mugs are filled with fresh cut short-stemmed flowers.

Our fabric covered pots look great in the center of the table, as does our mini bunting displaying words of encouragement.

Fabric butterflies flutter in our front window over the table.

 Happy Spring!

More Fabric Magic with Modge Podge

By cutting scrap fabric into butterfly silhouettes...

Coating and shaping them with Modge Podge...

We strung them with fishing line...

And hung them to flutter in our window.

So cute, so easy, so Spring!

Fabric Covered Flower Pots

As We Continue to Cover Things with Fabric

Inspired by blogger Christine Chitnis's tutorial Pretty Pots, we grabbed some of our favorite new fabric, a jar of Mod Podge, and a few terra cotta pots.

Wrapping a big piece of fabric around the bigger pot was a bit tricky, but the end result was perfection!

They are a wonderful centerpiece for our garden-themed table setting gracing our store window.

The fabrics used are from Laura Gunn's new "Garden Wall" : French Harp in Burgundy and Wee Spring in Olive
